Leadership in the Community

Leadership is about service to others. We are so proud of all of our students at MAK and their commitment to supporting others. Every year our entire school community comes together to support areas of need in our community.

Terry Fox Run

  • Our students raise money to support cancer research and to keep Terry’s dream alive.

Treats for the Streets

  • MAK students donate their surplus Halloween candy and it is donated to inner city charities

Winter Coat Drive

  • MAK organizes a winter coat drive and all clothing is donated for families in need.

Christmas Hamper Project

  • Our community works together to build holiday hampers filled with food, toiletries and small gifts to  help underprivileged families enjoy the holidays.

Santa’s Workshop

  • In collaboration with our wonderful School Council we set up Santa’s Workshop for the students to purchase gently used items for gifts for their family members. All money raised is donated to a charity.
